He also emphasized the key role of the secondary market, which represents a significant part of S.O. Capital Advice’s activity. This market provides liquidity solutions when exits by investment funds are rare, as is currently the case, particularly in the mid- and large-cap segments. Today, S.O. Capital Advice has identified over 150 players in the secondary market, ensuring that every portfolio for sale finds a buyer, whether large or smaller in size.
The secondary market remains an area where solutions are always possible and S.O. Capital Advice’s mission is to play an active role in it. The firm also aims to develop this market in Africa and create a new business line to foster the emergence of future Private Equity leaders on the continent.
